Yes c) Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
Yes d) Should abortion be legal when the life of the woman is endangered?

Yes f) Do you support requiring parental consent before an abortion is performed on a minor?
No g) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for abortion procedures?
No h) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
Libertarians do not believe that government should controlling a woman's body. Libertarians understand that poverty should not be a barrier when abortions are needed to save the life of the mother or in he case of rape. As a Libertarian I would vote to abolish all abortion laws and leave this issue between the mother and her god(s) or to her own consciousness if she is an atheist.

Libertarians believe in a small government that respect an individual rights. What we have to day is a borderline Police State where the multitude of bloated State government agencies that are robbing the citizens of their personal wealth though unconstitutional laws and abusive polices. I would work to allow public sector competition in the ares of education that would encourage the best teachers and schools to flourish here. I would encourage toll roads to fix our crumbing infrastructure, and make it easier for hospitals to setup a cash system for walk in care in major supermarkets and malls
I personally would vote to eliminate the income tax in Oregon all together. With a smaller State government the taxes would be small. Lastly, I will submit legislation to mandate that the Oregon lottery VLT's (Video Lottery Terminals) offer Fair Games on par with the odd of Las Vegas, NV. Today the VLT's offer games that are very unfair and unintentionally create poverty of those who have gambling addictions or who don't understand that the Oregon VLT's are not fair games and that playing them the player has no chance of ever being a winner.
The only way to solve a needs of a bloated government is to shrink the government itself. I would work to examine what State agencies can be disbanded and work to reduce the size of the State agencies and limit the scope of their responsibilities and duties.

a) Do you support limits on the following types of contributions for state candidates?

No e) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls?
I support freedom of speech in all of its forms, even the ones that are not publicly pleasing. If we start taking away our freedoms in politics, then we greatly harm ourselves and what democracy is all about.
No a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes b) Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders, such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?

No d) Should a minor accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?
No e) Should a minor who sends sexually-explicit or nude photos by cell phone face criminal charges?
No f) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
First, the government cannot take something they do not own, that being a persons life. I believe that if we dismantle the emerging Police State that we can though our churches, communities, and with social networking help each other become better parents and human beings. A State that become in the position to dictate how we are to socially interact and be civil to each other often become a tyrant and uses the threat of death to carry out its demands. Who would want to live in such a society? I would support to legalize marijuana.

No f) Do you support providing direct financial assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure?
Yes g) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage?
Yes h) Do you support expanding liquor sales?
I support to eliminate the OLCC, I support to reduce and remove government regulations that create barriors and hindrances to job growth. I support to change the land use laws that are often the major barriers that manufacturing plants come up against when they want to build or expand here in Oregon. In short, State government though its many laws and regulations actually increase unemployment and create economic slumps. I would eliminate these laws and regulations and let the free market naturally create jobs that will last for a long time.
No a) Do you support the national Common Core State Standards initiative?
No b) Do you support a merit pay system for teachers?
No c) Is the tenure process for public school teachers producing effective teachers?
Yes d) Should parents be allowed to use vouchers to send their children to any school?
No e) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
No f) Do you support the state government providing college students with financial aid?
No g) Should illegal immigrants who graduate from Oregon high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
I support to create a free market of education. Competition is a great thing and brings out the best in all of us. A free market educational system would work for all of Oregon, and yes I would eliminate the educational tax too.
No a) Do you support state funding for the development of alternative energy?
No b) Do you support state funding for the development of traditional domestic energy sources (e.g. coal, natural gas, oil)?
No c) Do you support state funding for improvements to Oregon's energy infrastructure?
No d) Do you support state funding for open space preservation?
No e) Do you support government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions?
There is way to much fraud and deception with the existing State Energy programs. I would eliminate all of these and let the private sector develop and market real alternative energy products that are tested and true.
No a) Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
No b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
Yes c) Should citizens be allowed to carry concealed guns?

No e) Do you support requiring individuals to purchase health care insurance?
Yes f) Do you support monetary limits on damages that can be collected in malpractice lawsuits?
Yes g) Do you support allowing doctors to prescribe marijuana to their patients for medicinal purposes?
The government should get out of the healthcare industry, so far things have not worked out very well. I also support that doctors should be able to proscribe any treatment and medications that will help their patients.
Yes a) Do you support same-sex marriage?
No b) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Oregon's anti-discrimination laws?
No c) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Oregon's anti-discrimination laws?
The government should not regulate marriages or define them. As government should not be involved in an individuals marriage(s) government should not be telling employers who they can or cannot hire. If an employer wants to hire a particular type of person, that is their prerogative. However, let these companies face the social backlash and disdain of the public if they are unfair and unreasonable. Lastly, many of the anti-discrimination laws don't solve problems, rather only invite more government regulations and oversight that nobody wants.
